August 17, 2023

Progresstech-Ukraine, which is a provider of intellectual services for the global market of aerospace technologies, has launched new projects for the aviation industry and forced recruiting.

In the last 3 months, in May-July 2023, the company added about 80 aviation engineers and programmers to its team. This exceeds the total number of specialists enrolled in engineering and IT positions during a full year of work in the conditions of the hot phase of the war from its beginning in February 2022.

Progresstech-Ukraine intends to maintain high recruitment rates until at least the end of 2023. So, in August-December this year, the company plans to fill another 50 to 70 vacant positions.

The following vacancies are already open:

● for the engineering positions of designer, technologist, strength engineer and specialist in operational support of aviation equipment,
● in the IT positions of Front-end Engineer and Back-end Engineer – a developer, respectively, of the user interface and the functionality of web services, and DevOps Engineer – a specialist in optimizing all processes of the life cycle of a software product.

Active recruitment is due to the demand for a number of Progressech-Ukraine intellectual services for enterprises in the aerospace industry.

Thus, in the segment of engineering services, the largest number of orders currently fall on the design and technological support of works to maintain the airworthiness of the aircraft, on the modernization of avionics and maintenance of on-board electronic systems. Work on the conversion of passenger planes into freighters remains in demand, the demand for which was formed as early as January 2020-2021.

At the same time, Progresstech-Ukraine deepened its participation in international programs for the digital transformation of processes in civil aviation and initiated a number of its own promising projects.

The company's IT team, in particular, started developing software that allows to identify and assess problems in the functioning of certain aircraft components and prevent aviation incidents in a timely manner. The software solution will also help speed up the certification of new types of aircraft, including the world's largest twin-engine passenger jet, which has been awaited by more than 300 customers for several years.

In addition, Progresstech-Ukraine information technology specialists joined the projects to create a new generation cockpit and to optimize international cargo air transport routes.

Another group of IT professionals is involved in the development of software for accounting and forecasting the emissions of the global fleet of commercial aircraft. The service will also analyze how harmful emissions will affect the environment, taking into account many factors, in particular, the degree of modernization of aircraft engines and the level of optimization of the composition of jet fuel.
