Engineering development program for all regions of Ukraine
Profile, content, purpose
The engineering development program "Design and analysis of elements of aircraft structures" is aimed at preparing students for employment in the leading design centers of the aviation industry and other high-tech industries.
Students and graduates of technical and natural sciences from any of the universities and colleges of Ukraine have the opportunity to learn the basics of aviation engineering. We also welcome applicants with engineering experience outside the aerospace industry.
The competitive selection of trainees is carried out based on the results of comprehensive entrance testing in physics, mathematics and technical mechanics.
The curriculum provides for studying, in particular, the basics of 3D modeling, theoretical mechanics, materials science, mechanics of materials and construction mechanics. All disciplines are taught practically from scratch. This makes it possible to take part in our educational project even for those who have not previously studied the listed subjects.
The program is focused on solving practical tasks of creating real aircraft parts and components. The students study the theory mostly on their own according to the methodical materials developed in advance, which are explained and regularly discussed in the seminar classes.
To evaluate the results of engineering training, graduates undergo a final interview. Each of them, who confirmed that their knowledge and skills meet the requirements for applicants for engineering positions, receives an invitation to work at Progresstech-Ukraine.
Training is free of charge for trainees who demonstrate a high level of knowledge at intermediate tests, as well as for all those who, based on the results of the final interview, joined the engineering team of Progressech-Ukraine.
Format, locations
The training of aviation engineers is mainly carried out remotely and is available to students in all regions of the country. It can be supplemented by classical engineering courses in the mode of classroom offline classes based on the Kharkiv and Dnipro training centers of Progressech-Ukraine. The format of the educational process – either purely distance learning or mixed – is revised every year. The choice depends on the current epidemic situation and quarantine restrictions introduced in Kharkiv and Dnipro.
Depending on the chosen format of engineering training, the interaction of students and teachers takes place in online or offline mode, including seminar classes, entrance and intermediate tests, etc.

Cyclicality, deadlines
Recruitment of trainees is carried out every year.
Training starts in October after the formation of groups (distance/face-to-face training) and lasts 8 months. In general, the program consists of 4 educational modules.
Group classes lasting 3-4 hours, both remote and classroom, are held on weekdays in the evening and on weekends.
Program teachers
Group and individual classes and consultations are conducted by professional engineers and university teachers. To master the theory, students also use the Progresstech-Ukraine digital archive of video lectures with the participation of specialized specialists from leading enterprises in the aerospace and related industries, well-known business trainers and authoritative teachers.
