Dual education
Our dual education programs were created in partnership with leading technical universities of Ukraine in order to strengthen the practical component of engineering education.
Some of the projects involving practical training in the company's design centers are closely integrated into the educational programs of higher education institutions.
In addition, students and graduates of higher educational institutions can gain additional engineering knowledge and skills outside of the university educational process, becoming listeners of the company's distance learning programs or traditional offline engineering courses in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Dnipro.
Practice confirms: graduates of our dual education programs receive a significant competitive advantage both on the labor market in general and among applicants for engineering positions at Progresstech-Ukraine.
Modernization of the educational process in technical universities
Together with technical universities, we modernize educational programs and the content of training courses, we take students from partner universities for internships in our design center .
The company also contributed to the creation of two new master's specializations at KPI, which are in demand by the modern market of engineering services: "Aircraft Production Technology" and "Information Systems and Technologies in Aircraft Construction".
At the same time, the teachers of the graduating departments had the opportunity to improve their qualifications at the company's training center and undergo an introductory internship at the factories of our partner - the Boeing company.
Employment training courses
Progresstech-Ukraine has introduced a number of advanced engineering training programs for senior students and graduates of technical universities to work in leading design centers of high-tech industries.
Yes, classes in the Kyiv courses "Fundamentals of aircraft engineering" from the summer of 2014. are held on the basis of the Center for Dual Education of KPI and Progresstech-Ukraine.
In 2021, the 8-month Engineering Development Program "Design and Analysis of Elements of Aviation Structures" was launched with a mostly distance learning format, available to students in all regions of Ukraine. The program also includes traditional offline classes based on the Kharkiv and Dnipro educational centers of Progresstech-Ukraine
Targeted training of masters
In partnership with technical universities, we implement targeted master's training programs for the company. Their participants have the opportunity to combine master's studies with work at Progresstech-Ukraine as an engineer and gain real experience of participating in the company's projects.
In particular, in Kyiv, dual master's training is carried out on the basis of KPI named after Igor Sikorsky for one of two specializations: "Dynamics and strength of machines" or "Technologies of aircraft manufacturing". Graduates of any technical university of Ukraine with a bachelor's degree can apply for dual education.
The joint master's program with KPI has a European certificate of accreditation of engineering education . Therefore, the qualifications of its graduates are recognized in all EU countries and outside the European Union.
The development of the educational infrastructure of universities
To introduce modern technologies into the educational process, Progresstech-Ukraine provides support to technical universities in the re-equipment of laboratories and classrooms, in the production of educational and methodological manuals.
For example, the Center for Dual Education on the basis of KPI is equipped with modern computer equipment, it received licenses for CATIA V6 software.
This made it possible for Kyiv Polytechnic to be one of the first in Eastern Europe and the first in Ukraine to introduce the new generation CAD/CAM/CAE system, recognized as a standard for leading engineering centers of the aviation industry, into the educational process.
Support of student creativity
The company strives to help students go beyond theoretical knowledge, textbooks and lectures, to become direct participants in the development and implementation of projects.
The technical creativity circles supported by the company give future engineers precisely such opportunities - to calculate and design the optimal design with the use of the CAD/CAE system, to select the right materials, to test and modernize the model.
A member of the circle gets a rare chance for a future office engineer – to touch the real results of his calculations and simulations. And it does not matter - they are embodied in metal, plastic or a wooden frame covered with fabric. The main thing is that it is the fruit of one's own engineering thought.

Aviation circle KPI Aircraft
In 2016, Progressech-Ukraine initiated the reproduction of the legendary aviation circle that operated a century ago on the basis of KPI. To launch the project, the company engaged employees with many years of experience in aircraft modeling, helped to purchase components, materials and equipment for manufacturing models.
Today, the KPI Aircraft team includes two dozen students who have mastered the methods of calculating structures for strength, 3D modeling, production secrets and model management skills. Radio-controlled models are already ready and tested, including h "flying wing". In the process of production - a biplane, drones for aerial photography, a convertible and a model with an innovative aerodynamic BWB layout (hybrid wing-fuselage).
Formula student of KPI
The KPI Formula Student project (FS KPI) aims to participate in the largest international competition of university engineering automotive projects Formula SAE (Formula Student). According to the terms of the competition, the student team must independently design, manufacture, test and present the car in races and presentations.
Progresstech-Ukraine joined the support of the project - provided it with the means of transporting the car for performances in continental competitions. In 2015, the FS KPI team took part in the Czech stage of Formula SAE with its first racing car. The second car was presented in 2016 in Hungary (Formula Student East), the third in 2017. in the Netherlands (Formula Student Netherlands).
