During the year working under martial law, Progresstech Ukraine increased tax payments by 1.5 times

In 2022, Progresstech Ukraine, which exports engineering and IT services, increased the payment of taxes and fees by one and a half times, up to 500 million hryvnias.

Against the background of the large-scale losses for Ukrainian business due to Russia’s aggression, Progresstech Ukraine strengthened its position as the largest service provider in Eastern Europe for the global market of aerospace technologies. It expanded the export of services and increased labor productivity and staff wages.

Accordingly, the company’s tax payments increased. In particular, Progresstech Ukraine doubled the annual amount of taxes withheld from employees’ income compared to the pre-war year.

In order to resume effective work, the company radically reformed business processes two times in 2022 and adapted ones to wartime conditions.

Progresstech Ukraine is now able to ensure uninterrupted functioning in a remote, in-person, or hybrid format, regardless of the power supply in the country’s regions.

In addition, the intellectual services Progresstech Ukraine provides are practically invulnerable to logistical problems caused by the war. At the same time, the delivery of raw materials, components or finished products is critically affected by the destruction of transportation chains.

Thus, during Russia’s armed attack, Progresstech Ukraine, which delivers engineering and IT services, is objectively more stable and safer than commodity exports.
