Progresstech Ukraine, a subsidiary of the intellectual services provider PT-Americas from Houston, Texas, USA, has joined the American Chamber of Commerce, one of the largest and most effective business associations operating in Ukraine.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine is an integral part of the global network of U.S. chambers of commerce and is its largest representative office in Europe. This non-governmental, non-profit organization works closely with government authorities to advance the current economic agenda of the business community, develop the business environment, protect investments, and deepen socio-economic reforms in Ukraine. The Chamber also helps to strengthen Ukrainian-American business ties and helps Ukrainian businesses to borrow from the American experience.
“As a developer of engineering and software solutions, Progresstech Ukraine is the largest service provider for Boeing in Eastern Europe. We took advantage of our partnership with the aerospace industry leader in order to retain intellectual personnel and develop engineering education in Ukraine,” says Anton Kulchitsky, Director of Progresstech Ukraine. “Together with universities, the company prepares the national engineering elite, and together with Boeing, it provides gifted young people with respectable work in Ukraine. And as our business progresses, our potential as a socially responsible company grows. Therefore, we are excited to join the American Chamber of Commerce. We intend to consolidate our efforts to improve the business environment, support engineering in Ukraine, modernize technical education, and integrate Ukrainian engineers into the international division of labor.”
Currently, Progresstech Ukraine participates in the work of another two influential business associations operating in Ukraine. In 2019, Progresstech Ukraine became a member of the European Business Association (EBA) and the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), which focus their activities on supporting free enterprise, optimizing the investment climate, and accelerating reforms in Ukraine.
