Progresstech Ukraine took part in Le Bourget, 53rd International Air Show

The Progresstech Ukraine team met with representatives of leading aircraft manufacturers at the Le Bourget Air Show (17-23 June 2019). They discussed current projects and engaging Progresstech Ukraine and its partners in new projects for the aerospace industry.

Each day, prospective customers from different countries were introduced to Progresstech Ukraine’s areas of expertise, services, experience, and the engineering team’s skills.

Among the most numerous and inquisitive visitors to the company’s exposition were the 100 winners of the Ukrainian educational contest “Aviator 2019.” Guests were most interested in practical aspects of the engineering company’s cooperation with global aircraft industry leaders, job opportunities at Progresstech Ukraine, and professional development programs for the company’s engineers.

The “Aviator” contest is held annually for aviation and technical department students of Ukrainian universities.

This year, the winners were awarded a trip to the Le Bourget Air Show, which provided the opportunity to learn more about technologies of the future and the most significant displays at the year’s largest aviation forum.

International Paris Air Show — Le Bourget takes place every other year (in odd-numbered years) at Le Bourget airport, 12 km from Paris. It alternates with Farnborough International Airshow (FIA), which is held in the suburbs of London in even-numbered years.

Both air shows are the largest sectoral platforms for introducing the newest aircraft equipment, innovative technologies, and aerospace research projects. They have become the main meeting point for aircraft designers, producers, and operators, attracting hundreds of thousands of people passionate about aviation.

2000 companies from 50 countries participated in this year’s 53rd Le Bourget airshow. Around 320,000 visitors were introduced to the showpieces. Contracts signed at Le Bourget amounted to $140 billion.
